Welcome to the world of culinary art of world renowned chef Janez Bratovz. His menu is based on the relationship between the four elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire, representing four tastes – sweet, salty, sour, and bitter.

Because of its setting in the centre of Ljubljana, JB Restaurant has its own distinct identity as a Slovenian culinary temple in a famous Secessionist building of the 1920s. The interior is elegant and comfortable.

JB Restaurant is a family owned restaurant; chef’s wife Ema is the manager, his daughter Nina is a sommelier, and his son Tomaz is following his father’s steps of one day becoming the second world renowned chef in the family.
